In Hawaiian, mālama means to care for, to cherish, to honor. It’s more than a word — it’s a way of being, and the heart behind everything we create.

Mālama Rituals was born from my kitchen table in Lā‘ie, Hawai‘i during a season of deep reflection. After closing the doors to my photography business and stepping into a new chapter, I returned to the simple practices that made me feel most like myself — lighting a candle, sipping coffee, journaling in the morning, and showering by candlelight in the evening.

From these daily rituals came the inspiration for our first product, the Lotion Candle — a way to slow down, soften the day, and honor your body with luxurious butters and oils that deeply nourish the skin.
